Fashion RFID SCO combines Partner Tech Europe’s market-leading POS terminal with Checkpoint’s cutting-edge RFID technology. The solution enables shoppers to place their garments directly in the kiosk, which automatically identifies the RFID tags and determines if the garment has been paid for. This innovative system creates a frictionless retail environment, allowing customers to check out quickly while providing exceptional loss prevention.

Fashion RFID SCO also addresses numerous challenges that apparel retailers face in selfservice checkout areas, such as detecting theft, identifying multi-packs, multiple items, nonbarcoded items, non-readable QR codes, and resolving technical issues.

The intelligent solution deactivates soft tags once payment has been verified, reducing false alarms and enhancing loss prevention. By simply placing items in a designated area on the checkout desk, barcode scanning issues are eliminated, expediting the payment process and improving the customer’s shopping experience.

Furthermore, the RFID-based SCO provides accurate data on individual purchases, which, when combined with inventory information, helps stores replenish merchandise faster and minimize out-of-stock scenarios. Studies show that implementing RFID and increasing stock accuracy levels to above 93% can result in a 9% increase in sales.
